International Mega Lotto A letter is being sent from a group who claim they are from Special Data Processing DBA NME, in Jacksonville Florida. The letter claims the recipient is a winner in the grand prize third category drawing, promising 75,000 dollars in cash credited to an account. To claim the money they send the recipient a check for 1,100 dollar's to cover the costs of the "Insurance Fee" to process the winnings. In return, the recipient must pay 1013.96 dollars to the company to claim their money. The 1,1100 dollar check paid to the recipient to cover the costs is a fraudulent check. DO NOT send any money to this company. Immediately contact your local law enforcement agency and provide the notification letter to them. Telephone Soliciting There are a number of groups currently soliciting funds over the telephone. Please make sure you listen to the name of the group carefully and provide that information when you call to verify the legitimacy of the group.
