Governors Office of Emergency Services Provides Tulare County Sheriff's Department with $639,000 Grant to Monitor Sex Offenders The purpose of the SAFE Program is two-fold: To increase the registration compliance rate of sex offenders To deliver public education on Megan's Law and protection of thier children The Tulare County Sheriff's Departmnet is greatfull for the opportunity this grant provides. Together, with the community we can better monitor sexual predators, make more arrest and provide preventative measures and education to our youth. "As Sheriff, the safety of our residents has always been my priority, with great inphasis placed on the protection of our youth.
