| 4-H Youth Development 4-H is an exciting leadership and educational program for all youth ages 9 to 19. It is designed to provide knowledge, expertise and skills that will help youth develop into responsible, self-directed, and productive people. Through the use of hands-on learning activities and with the guidance of adult volunteer leaders, 4-H members involve themselves in a variety of challenging activities. Agriculture and Natural Resources The farm advisors of Tulare County serve as a link between University research and the agricultural industry. Farm advisors conduct applied, problem solving research to develop up-to-date information to be made available to our clientele through educational events, newsletters, and individual consultations. | Nutrition, Family and Consumer Sciences Focusing on the practical needs of Tulare County residents, the Nutrition, Family and Consumer Sciences Program conducts research and provides educational resources to improve the lives of families in our communities. | Master Gardener Program Have questions about plants in the home garden? The Master Gardeners offer free information on gardening problems. Master Gardener office hours in Tulare County: Tuesday and Thursday, 9:30 - 11:30 a.m.
